Your First Call
When you get started with us, you’ll speak with our office manager in a confidential call.
Making the phone call is a big first step. We want to thank you now if you’re planning on taking that first step. We’re going to start wherever you want to start. You don’t always have to answer each question, it’s okay to let us know if you’re not comfortable talking about a given subject. If it’s important, we’ll work towards it. The sessions are 50 minutes. During those minutes we can do anything from talking, drawing, playing cards, whatever makes you feel comfortable.
During your first visit, you can expect to fill out some paperwork. You won’t need any documentation to fill out this paperwork. We’ll also ask some other questions about how you prefer to communicate. We’ll ask if you’ve been in therapy before and what medications you’re currently on. We also like to know what you do for hobbies, and whether or not you feel you have a support system in place.
